Does anyone know what these are? I have noticed a few of them scampering off into the rocks when the lights get turned on. I was able to get a picture today. It may be a silly question but I don't know what they are and if they are good or bad for the tank. I have not noticed them being a problem so far but just don't know. Please help! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

Cool. Are they just a natural part of saltwater tanks?

I see them in my sump all the time.
I some time take a chunk of cheto out and shake it in my main tank to watch fish chase after and eat them as they fall out. : )

Glad to know I did not have an infestation of anything. At least not yet. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/tongue.gif

Gammarid amphipod . Only dangerous if they manage to tap into your power grid.
