New Starfish?

    Found this guy the other day and wondering if anyone has seen a starfish that looks like this?

    yeah i have tons of em in my tank one day then a few days later they are gone.

    Interesting.. this tank has been setup for about 4 years and haven't added anything for about 8 months. Recently moved the tank to a new house and this guy showed up. Seems like he was feeding on a sponge... Any idea what type of star it is? It is about the size of a half dollar.

    Hmmm interesting article. I will keep an eye on it. It kinda looks like that type of star the only difference is mine only has 5 legs. I only have a montipora at the moment also. Thanks for the link tho reefguy!

    I have lots of the nickel size stars in my 90 my friend has 2 brittle stars the size of half dollars
