Then after all said and done these were all the extra pumps that came out of the tank. Talk about a heat reduction

I need to give a big thanks to burky.  He has spent almost everyweekend here helping me with this.  He has put alot of time in on this project, and done a great job. [IMG]
Snowman- the only pumps I am using is the 2 Gen X 40.   1 pumps my return, and the other pumps to everything else.
llebcire- I think that I will be keeping a few of them.   what are you interested in.

    taavis-
I'm in the market for a Mag 7 if I stumble across a deal, I have an ETSS skimmer and in chatting with the manufacturer it is the best pump to use as it was what the skimmer was designed around.
    Thanks!

Taavis looking good man, looks like your getting good growth on most of your corals!

By the way I really like those yellow zoas, (4th pic from the bottom) wouldn't mind a frag if you can get one [IMG].

You got that Sun Coral from Pet's Playhouse...I was wondering who bought it. It wasn't looking so hot in their tanks and I was wondering who the lucky person was going to be to take that great coral home and see it open up. Looking good Troy!

Them sun corals are starting to look a little better. Wasn't sure really how to take care of them at first and really never seen them open. So I started to look into how to care for these and found that they will eat meaty foods. I have been giving them a mix of different raw seafoods, and they have been extending there polys more and more every night. Not a big deal to most but I was impressed.

Sun corals are some of my favorites. I have some yellows and some blacks. There seems to be a number of different varieties and like many other corals, growth pattern depends on flow. My yellows also have a yellow skeleton vs. the pink like yours. I wish they were out during the day instead of at night, but I guess you have to have something in the tank to look at when the main lights are off. IMO, the hardest part of keeping them, is keeping the other critters away so they can have a chance to eat.

I started feeding mine during the day. Now they have been opening up in the day time too. I just sprayed some food over top of them, and waited for them to open, when they did I gave them a good feeding. Now they are open most of the day.
