    You got that from Menards? Looks pretty nice. Interested to see how well this will work for a fuge. Do you have a picture of the package or a name and what section you found it in? If they are cheap enough it would be fun to tear one apart and put in some blue LEDs for lunars.

    The light was about 20 bucks. Its called a LED task light and its made by Zilotek. I found it in the bulb section.

    I used to have some led's from nano-customs on my biocube's rear, and it worked really well. Grew chaeto like crazy.

    does it give any info about the color temp or light output of the led's? It looks like it woulf be fun to experiment with!

    It says super bright white LEDs, No heat or uv rays, and its suppost to last up to 100,000 hours.
    So far the only down fall is it will not work with my ACII. So I just had to put it on a plug in timer.

    that's strange, is it causing intereference? are you using X10 modules?

    Yea I'm using X-10s. I think it is causing intereference cause every time the AC shuts them off they turn right back on.

    so i was reading about these LED's you got and wanted to try them out. I got three of them to light my refugium. i really like how it looks, i will post some pictures on here when i get them from my camera to the computer.

    Lighting with electronic ballasts and whatnot will not work with X10's unless you add a filter, you can get them for dirt cheap on Ebay but the timer will work just as well. Why not just run it 24/7?
