I'm for sure overstocked, but I couldn't pass it up.

Sorry about the crappy iPad pic, but it is a goldflake. The guy I picked him up from said he was 5 inches but he seems bigger. I like his personality, out in front right after I tossed him in, eats from my hand too.

Good score! I like your regal too. What does your regal eat? We've had one for 9 months and I swear the only thing I've seen him eat is nori. Seems to be fat & happy though so must be eating something else.

I've had the regal for about 2 years. I picked him up from Coral Haven when he was about the size of a 50 cent piece. He's probably 3-4 inches now. He honestly has eaten just about everything I have ever fed the tank. Ate flake the day I bought him. The thing I notice with the Regal is he is kind of a shy eater though, when it knows I'm watching it does not eat.
I feed a 1 inch chunk of homemade blender mush everyday (the mush is about 20% Nori 60% salmon, clam, rods pacific krill, rods fish eggs, NLS pellets and reef fuel make up the rest of it). and the Ehiem fish feeder dumps a small amt of spectrum pellets in 2x a day. I've seen the Regal eat all of it.
