Need new light

    I have been using a 12 inch pc light (bulb only 9 inches long) as an atinic light for a while. Always happy with it. Well the other day it did not com on. I checked it out, put in a new bulb and nothing. Replaced the "starter" and nothing. A new ballast is more than a new light. So I am in need of another light that is 18 inches long or shorted to use for atinic. If anyone has only laying around. Shaun

    You can buy a ballast from home depot for like 20 or you can order workhorse ballast for like 15 online

    The problem is that neither of those fit into this housing. I got the light real cheap (as in free) and it has worked good for a couple years. I got my moneys worth out of it.

    You can always wire it below the tank (ballast) and then run the wires up to the fixture if you were closer I could help are you coming to spring fest

    I am not going to be able to make it to spring fest. Will look into your idea though. Shaun
