My New Clowns

    I got these two the other day at Adams Aquatics in des moines.
    One is a regular blk and white, and the other is a misbared blk and white.

    Nice...had one for about 4 years now... has never tried to pick at me like my maroon.

    They look great!
    Was thinking of getting a pair myself. Not sure if I want the blacks or the traditional true percs.

    Seriously, you're playing with fire there /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif Just hope they don't have anything.  I'm on my second round of full tank ich QT. 4 weeks the first time, and now I'm doing an 8 week-er because the 4 week wasn't enough to starve it out.  Damn tangs...

    i have never really had a problem so far( KNock on Wood),, I had a yellow mimic tang die on my but that was over 2 months after adding him to the tank.

    i seen a pr of black clownfish like that at this sight?

    but i can't figure out for the life of me, why they are $5000.00 holy crap is there somthing special about these little fishies

    Ya those are a super rare species to start with, & considering they were a pair they went really high.

    A breeder from Illinois bought them if I remember correctly

    They're from a protected area off of the autrailian coast. The guy who got a chance to capture a bredding stock was EXTREMELY lucky. Check out his story. It's pretty cool :) 3/4 of the way down the page " The Mccullochi Story"

    well i knew there was something special about them, but i didn't realize how big a deal these fish are, and also, if hes breeding them wouldn't there be more of them. i hope so, not that i ever have the money to get them.
