my 1000 gal upgrade build

i have spent the last 3 days combining my old system with my new system not done yet but getting close i will post some pics in a few days

 

ok here are the pics i promised doesnt seem like a got alot done but it was alot of work thanks to john and mark for coming over and helping


full tank shot with all the fish  i think my work work turned out good the pic doesnt show all the overhangs on the pillers also this is when the lights just came on so all the corals arent opend up yet

















made a new light bar over the NPS tank to hold the AI nano its smaller then the old one



here is the skimmer, ozone reactor, kalk reactor, bio pellet reactor, calcium reactor and the davey jones locker

well thats it for now next will be skinning the stand and building the canopy over the aggresive tank   ill keep everyone posted

 

almost forgot a pic of the DIY sulfer denitrator i made i'm going to install it tomarrow

 

i have a little more progress to report  i just finished the conopy on the aggressive tank   the drop ceiling will attach directly to the canopy giving the tank a illusion of being built into the wall I hope i also still need to run a peice on the front right and back left to cover up the edges and the 2x4 but i cant do that untill the counter top is on

its been awhile since i have updated this.  i havent gotten too much done but here is what i have done in the last week or so


i got the stand and canopy skined and the whole room primered and ready for paint

the counter top for the stand is being installed next week. then its just a waiting game for bud to finish my new frag tank and for me to save up money to replace the plywood tank


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 

 

I have made a little bit more progress. I had my countertop installed. Built 2 18" makers led kits with 24 LEDs each to go over the frag tank part of my sump (I will be building one more for it soon) also upgraded my sulfur denitrator to 44" tall. built a light bar for my new frag tank bud is building me (he's almost done with it) I will be hanging a 36" 48 led makers led kit over it as soon as I get it built. I also added a 5th AI over my aggressive tank. Oh and my magnificent anemone I got from char just split and both are doing great from my understanding this is fairly rare for them to split. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get a few extra minutes
