    pc lights wont keep that Montipora Digita a live it will die out

    ? it came from a guy who grew it all w/pc lights. All 6-10 lbs of it w/4 96w actintic and 2 96w 10k in a 75 gallon! only the tips closest to the lights turned purple.

    pc lights wont keep that Montipora Digita a live it will die out I have kept montipora digitata under pc lights before. WHile the colors were not the greatest I did have good growth and polyp extension. Corals don't necessarily have to be b-b-q-ed to thrive. They just may not develop the colors normally associated with extremely lighting. The most important thing is stability of parameters, from there you can get away with quite a lot.
