    what do these like, lights, flow, etc... and do they ever come more interesting? lol

    It will do well in medium to very high light (mine covered a half-softball sized rock in a matter of a couple months about 12" under 400w 10k halides).

    What's not interesting?

    I've read low to medium light.... after about two weeks its not really done anything, like opening up

    Now that you mention that I had frags that fell into rocks that hung on for a very long time, so I imagine it's very forgiving when it comes to light.

    If it were happy it should be open the majority of the time. Maybe try sticking it in a container and throwing some tiny food in like cyclopeeze?
