Seems that there might be a question on a couple things. Figured I would ask around, who has one, and what if any issues have you had with it being reef safe?

The LA listing mentions "It will eat fireworms and pyramidellid snails, protecting corals and clams. In addition, it may eat feather dusters, wild shrimp, tubeworms, and flatworms." Any of this ring true, specifically tube worms, shrimp and clams??

The one in my tank will go after krill shrimp if they are small enough...he doesn't harass any of my corals, snails, hermit crabs or cleaner shrimp. It loves to eat our DIY food and marine flakes. He even hits the algae sheets I put in for my foxface and tang.

Oh and last night he ate on of the baby brittle stars i was trying to drop onto a rock /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif

    I love my wrasse!!

I did some reading and it looks like any clams that might have been lunch were likely infested already or something. Also read as they get bigger they might snack on snails, and when those are gone they might become an issue, again mostly isolated cases. I want to put a 4" one in the tank at Grove & Platt but I also really don't want that big 7" clam to become lunch LOL.

Also worried that he might jump...that's a rimless tank...

they eat snails, bristle worms, and shrimp PROTECTING corals and clams. They don't bother larger snails for the most part, only occasionally, and occasionally eats hermits. Never eat clams.

Other than the occasional snail and hermit my 7" melenarus has always been a model citizen for more than 6 years.
