We cant give everything away unfortunatly.  You obviously havent been to many trade shows.  Many you cant even get in for just one day.  We are cheaper then the last 5 MACNA's on almost everything.  Try going to a MAX in California or IMAC.
I am glad you have faith in us compared to Orlando.  Especially considering we have sold 170 booths compared to the 150 that they had.

Really? Do you think Orlando's single day passes were cheaper? No, they were not.

And just a reminder that any club members who are willing to donate some of their time at the event will have most if not all of their entire 3 day pass paid for.

Yeah I guess I don't pander to everybody's needs. It's a good thing I have 10+ years of experience and two bachelors degrees in scientific fields, otherwise I would be totally intolerable. It came to my attention though during our discussion of unscrupulous conduct that this wasn't a regulated, censored environment, so I'm not going to make any bones about how I feel about things or people any more. Fact is I'm an excellent educator, regional trustee, and organizer and our chapter has had great success with turnout ever since I began. You're kind of the only guy I have beef with though so, whatever.
Somebody SHOULD just close this thread before things get out of hand. But wtfe

Well considering we have people signed up from Canada, Venzuela, Spain, Australia, Mexico, and England, I am not too worried about attendance.

MACNA is big, and if you choose not to attend in your own backyard that will be your loss.

    1) We don't need to have as many people as Orlando for our MACNA to be successful.
    2) Prior to Orlando, some of the most successful MACNAS were held outside of costal areas.

Orlando did benefit from the fact that they had the Costal area to draw from and the fact that Orlando itself is a vacation destination. With that said, the people who traditionally attend MACNA do travel from all over the country/world to get there. Most of them come for the show, not for local attractions.

We have never been under the delusion that Iowa residents would make up the bulk of MACNA attendees, the vast majority of attendees will be traveling in from out of state and will be there for all 3 days of the event. The "single day visitor" is really not the target audience.

Armydog you LIVE in des moines, you don't even have to pay for a hotel room for two nights. I am, I'll end up spending 1000 bucks that weekend easy. If you're too cheap to fork out 50 bucks that's your own problem. I mean this hobby, 50 bucks here, 90 bucks there, 230 bucks on this because you can hardly live without it, welcome to the club dude, get used to it!
