Looking to buy Southdown or similar aragonite sand - 100 lbs.

Anyone?
I was in Des Moines today and went to the Home Depot's in W. Des Moines, Urbandale and Ankeny.
I'm also getting ready to list some frags for sale if a trade would work.

I believe they stopped making that stuff several years ago (don't know why). Honestly, I'd be shocked if you found any new bags at a hardware store.
It does show up for sale used occasionally, but it's pretty rare.

That makes sense - I haven't purchased any since 2003!
What's my next best bet?

 

I plan on traveling south of Des Moines tomorrow to Chariton and will be as far west as Newton to Hwy 14 south. Or, I could go through Ottumwa (34)/Oskaloosa (92)/etc. if needed.

If there were a large enough order, I would go into Des Moines, up to Ankeny, down through Indianola, etc. for delivery.

Picked up 100 pounds of Southdown today!
I have almost everything needed to get my new build going but the lights...guess I should get started on it!
I have a lot of work to do before I need the lights...some call it procrastination...

where did you find it? did you get it new? I got it from a local reefer in un-opened 50 pound bags.
I'm sure they know that there is interest and I would assume that it's their choice not to list it in the forums.
BTW - I don't know this person and they contacted me regarding my post.
