Looking to buy a 40 long or 40 breeder I have 100 dollars

    Hello my name is Joseph Norris and I just registered on this forum. I want to start a reef tank and wanted to buy a 40 gallon breeder or a 40 gallon long aquarium.     Wait for petco to have their $1/gallon sale and you can pick up a brand new 40 breeder for $40. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif They usually have them a few times a year.

    Actually I was wondering has anyone seen a 30 gallon long recently. I haven't been able to find one. And if somebody could help me on starting a checklist for things I need for a reef aquarium.

    aqueon still lists a 33 long.

    Tank, water (ro/di), filtration, lighting, flow, test kits - ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH and phosphate to start out. Once you get a reef going alk, calcium and magnesium are nice to have.
    Knowing what kind of tank you are wanting, softie, LPS, mixed reef etc. would help. What your budget is.
