Looking for some metal halides

    I'm looking for a metal halide system 2x250w 14k.  ANyone have some used stuff?Or a place with cheap prices.  The best I can find is just under $500 from Premium Aquatics

    Have you looked at a retro fit from hellolights.com ? $500 sounds about right if it includes bulbs/reflectors/ballasts.

    for 500.00 you should be able to get a Very Very nice setup. If all you are looking for is a dual ballast (2x250) bulbs and reflectors, you should be able to pick up one for less than 250.00. Especially used! For 500.00 you should be able to get the works, T-5 Supplemental lighting, electronic ballast, DE HQi bulbs, complete all in one setup!

    The tank is a 48X24X24. Send me a link if you can find something that cheap cbort. The ballasts are all around $250 alone, Bulbs $80 each, and then the reflectors are around $50 each which comes out to about $500. "Premium aquatics" in my first post is actually a link to their full PFO system for $486.

    I have a aqualight pro. It has 2 150w 10k (needs new bulbs) 2 96w atinics, and 4 lunars. I am asking 400$ obo. Not sure if you would be interest, and i am nego on the price too. Just thought i would let you know.
