I've got two 44g Brute cans about half full of live rock, I've been keeping it at 70F and circulating for a few months (since end of January)

Half of it comes from the Grove & Platt tank, there was just too much rock in that tank. Most pieces are pretty average density/size and a few are really solid and heavy so I will probably price these based on a combination of weight and density

The other half is from my personal tank from when I tore it down and put the fish in the G&P tank, it is all the marcorock type of shape, but it's really old, like 10 years old. It did have some GHA on it but that's long gone now after being in a dark barrel for 3 months.

I'll post some pics and come up with prices here soon but this will be first come first served, it's all at my shop in Grimes which I have to vacate ASAP.

I also have a bunch of dry rock which I will also list in this post

Outside of this I have a bunch of supplies that I will be listing separate. All have to go, I'm purging ti all out.

Just over 100 lbs dry rock in this photo, plus a handful of baseball sized pieces and a bucket of large granule size sand (with shells etc mixed in)

$1.50/lb if you want to pick through it

$100 if you want it all

The two other big rocks from previous post, on the scale

This one is big, flat, and porous. Perfect shelf rock centerpiece for a big tank. Asking $100 OBO GONE

This one is a nice big piece, asking $20

    Rock from Grove & Platt

None of this rock is overly exciting, but it is nice and clean and has been immersed in saltwater, kept at 70F and circulating since I pulled it all out. It's also been dunked several times including when I just took it out for these pics and put it back in.

Total of approximately 108 lbs, $185 for all of it, see below for breakdown on pricing

Small pieces 8.25 lbs: $10 for all of it

    IMG_2321.JPG

    DENSE ROCK: 3 pieces, about 51 lbs: $1.50/lb = $75 for all 3

Regular rock (i.e. not super dense) about 50 lbs worth for $2/lb, $100 for all

    Rock from my tank

This is a mixture of some regular pieces and then a bunch of pukani that is really hard to find, and it sucks that I have to give it up but oh well.

This rock has also been kept in saltwater, at 70F, and circulating since I pulled it out of my tank. The caveat here is that I had let the tank go and there was a bunch of GHA on it so some rocks still have some remnants. However it has been kept in darkness so most of the GHA is gone but you will probably want to cook (cure) this rock for a bit longer. I did find one hitchhiker and I'm really interest to find out if anyone knows wtf it is so read on lol

    IMG_2338.JPG

First the "regular" or "meh" rock which is not super dense so it's decent
$2/lb, 47 lbs total, $90 takes them all

Small pieces (a lot of them)

    IMG_2339.JPG

    and some larger pieces

    IMG_2354.JPG

The rest are the branching/pukani type, lost of crevices and porosity so these I'm asking $3/lb, about 35 lbs, $100 takes them all (the following plus the pics in the next post)

Note: one of these is the one with the "oh my god what the f--- is that, I'm putting on my face shield and then I'm poking that thing" hitchhiker. Yes it's very much alive and I would really like to know wtf that thing is

Almost all the wet rock is still available at the prices above

Here is what is left of all the dry rock

The rocks on the right are covered in the remains of tube worms or vermetid worms, I've been told that coral doesn't like attaching to that. So you will have to tap most of that off with a hammer/screwdriver/etc or just acid bath the rock. Because of that, I'd let that rock go for like $0.50/lb

The stuff in the middle has a bit of those worm remnants but they are not nearly as bad so those rocks and the rocks on the left are now $1/lb
