    i have been looking for some lighting. Not sure what is decent or a junk. wondering if this t5 would work for a 55 gallon. this is the item number on ebay.

    Proper lighting depends on a lot of factors:

    1) What types of coral do you want to keep.
    2) How fast do you want it to grow.
    3) What "look" do you like. for example: yellowish (6K - 10K), whiteish (12K - 15K) or blueish (20K, Actinic)

    BTW, if you might want to post general questions like this in the "General" forum here on the site. There are a lot of helpful people in the club that may not be seeing your posts because they don't live in the CR/IC area and don't read this forum.
