I currently have a coralife 150 mh x2 and with a 96 w pc x2.  It came with stock bulbs 3 months ago.  The 10 k hqi were way too white/yellow so with advice on here switched them to phoenix 14 k.  I love the look.  Now do I want to change the acintic 96 watts to a 10k?  my feeling is the hqi has enough blue?  would 10 help growth better?  Thanks

The corals are gonna get all their light from the halides I'd stick with actinics for your power compacts. No such thing as too much blue! I love the deep blue look /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Just thought 10k acintics would help grow bigger

The PCs will help with the growth, but only to a small degree as their par output is not that great. Like MX said the halides will provide 90% of the par and you PCs are more for color enhancement (In my opinion).
