I am starting the process of setting up a JBJ 45 gallon all in one. I am planning on a mixed reef with a couple of the heartier SPS, but mostly SPS and softies.

My desired lighting budget has me leaning towards either the Red Sea ReefLED 90 or the Reef Breeders 24 Photon v2. The Red Sea would look cleaner, and it has the recessed lens for less light bleed. However, the Photon has higher PAR with a larger footprint. It would need mounted higher, though, and that would have more light outside of the aquarium footprint.

Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice.

I have a Red Sea 90 and I love it. I have over 20 different corals and 20 fish. It works great and is very programable, upgraded from pop blooms.

How big of a tank do you have your 90 on?

Also, thanks @gburkart@gburkart, thanks. My brother-in-law has the Prime on his Waterbox 20, and he loves it. I'm just hoping I can get good coverage with one light to minimize wires.
