Can't say that it's going to be any better than your T5 on a 60 gallon tank since their only 1 watt LED's How deep is the tank? Also the big thing is that that fixture only has one power cord so if you want to run a dawn to dusk to moonlight you have to manually do it with the switch, absolutely no way to do it with timers. Bad cost cutting design flaw IMO I would look for something else.

Im with oceans I wouldnt buy that fixture. Seen em in person and IMO their too white, and with only 1W leds dont think they'd be enough to take on a full tank. The only one Ive seen in person was at Hungs and he had the tank 1/2 full of sand so the roses with really close to it. That might be saying something too. I'd bite the bullet and buy AI's.

I agree with these guys!! 1w leds even with the projector lens will not give you what you will need. You will want to go with something with 3w leds or larger.

A better question would be, "what's your budget?" AI's are pretty highly regarded and AC&C frequently has them in stock.

The AI's are really nice. And if you get the older model then their only $399 a unit, and I think for a 60g you would need two.
