Has anyone used the Koralia's on a wavemaker?  If so, were you satisfied with it??  I just got a Reefkeeper lite a month ago.  There is supposed to me some simple wavemaker function on it - and I thought I might try it - as opposed to my Koralia simply running 100% full time.

You can the only problem youll have is there very noisey at start up and depending on your interval they may not.  It  can help if you put some airline tubing between the cone and the impeller. or get the k's that are made for wavemaking

I have mine on a wave maker, and like Xmasia said. Every time it starts up, there is a some noise. I haven't tried the air line tube on the propeller shaft yet.

On the Koralias not designed for wavemaker controllers, would that lower their lifepspan doing so?

I was thinking about this too Janette and I might still try it, when I get another PC4.

    Janette -

I have two of the old school Koralia 4's on a JBJ pulse duo. The older generation pumps are noisy on startup but the new Evolution series are supposed to have that problem solved and from what I've heard they're silent. I ordered two of the new generation and will be switching my older ones out and hook up the evos to the wave maker. You shouldn't have an issue.

Tony - I'd be interested in how the Koralia evo works on your JBJ wavemaker.  Let me know!
