Yesterday my lights were off when I got home and I found out my Icecap ballast blew up again.
I mailed it in next day air for repair and hopefully I will get it back early next week before my new corals die. I suppose I can buy a grow light and put it over the tank if I have to but hopefully they will fix it and return it quickly.

I would think things would be fine for a bit.

Many reefers have found success going with 2-4 days of complete darkness in their tank once a month, don't know about an entire week.

This is my second lights out. Lost most of my coral the first time but it was longer than 4 days more like 10 days.
I think if it is under a 6 days or so I'll be OK. I'll wait and see how soon I can get the ballast back. If it goes too long I'll definitely take you up on it. Thanks Rustin.
Btw, has anyone else had trouble with their Icecap ballasts over the years? This 660 ballast is about 4 years old now. It broke the first time last summer.
    Edit: its a 75 gallon
