    We are going to have an awesome event hosted at Jeanette Becker's home. Bring your family and anyone else in the hobby that might want to meet others.

    We will have raffle prizes and also have food. GIRS will provide a main dish and all are welcomed to bring a side dish or dessert.

    Don't forget about the Des Moines /Ames regions Holiday party next Sunday afternoon at 2pm!!! A good time to re-connect with your fish/reef buddies. I'm co-hosting it at my house. See above for address.

    The club will provide pizza and soda. Everyone is welcome to bring a side dish or dessert.

    We will have a frag exchange (please bring a frag if interested in participating) and door prizes (gift cards to local Pet stores). Also I will have a frag of purple stylo for 3 members.

    Bring your family and anyone else in the hobby that might want to meet others. Must be a member to participate in the door prize drawing.

    Hope you can make it!

    Big thanks to Jeanette who once again opened her home and hosted this get together! It was a very enjoyable afternoon! Also big thanks to Chris who was a big part of it and everyone else who was there and helped with their support!...I just wish you all would have eaten more cookies so I wouldn't have to come home with them!(I don't trust myself with them in the house)

    I second your words wayerrat41 for Jeanette hosting the Des Moines region Christmas party! Thank you Jeanette!

    It was nice seeing Mark, Elliot, Paul, Shani, Tre and Chris, and the spouses!

    I also apologize to those there when my voice was raised as I was trying to state my opinion without being interrupted, and I do talk louder when I am passionate about something. So, I hope you all will accept my apology.

    Go for those cookies Waterrat41! Those cookies taste good!
