We were going for a natural birth, decided to get the epidural at 3cm, went from 3 cm to 9 cm in a few hours then got stuck.  Apparently she was face up and wasn't gonna make it past the arch after 2+ hours of pushing so we had to go to plan b.  It was pretty nerve wrecking but baby and mom are both doing fine now.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
    Jeremy
