Wow. That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing that tank operational. I hope the damage to everything else in the store was not too significant and that their insurance covers what was damaged.

That's terrible! I hate to see such a thing happen to good people. I, along with a lot of us, was really looking forward to seeing it set up. Hopefully this will be only a set back in the overall project of getting a huge, bad *** reef tank up and running.

Wow!  Glad no one was hurt!!!  I also was in just last night for the LED demo.  Never thought that would happen!!  And after all that work.  Hope the insurance covers you well.  Tim - you've got a sense of humor about this!!!

Gotta have a sense of humor....sometimes sh*(* happens.... Already quoted new tank, unfortunatley 6-8 weeks to build.......so it will be awhile....
    Insurance should cover all damages...HOPEFULLY....

Man, seeing that just feels like a kick to the chest. What a worst case scenario for any aquarium!

Even worse....I have an 1 1/2" acrylic aquarium. I strongly recommend against getting one; finding things to clean it is *impossible*.

Glad you guys weren't hurt. Is the store open? Wow, not a great time for this to happen, but maybe it will end up with a better tank in the end. Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Too bad it wasn't video taped. Great youtube hit. Were there a lot of costumers at the time?

    "Did that tank just break?"
"Nope, our pregnant whale's water just broke."
    Here's your sign.

I was at the store last year and the rock wall tank had a leak in it. I think it was just getting set up.

Good luck with your recovery effort. Any plans of getting another?

That sucks.  Sorry to hear that.
Any chance of you transferring that video online anytime?  I cant imagine what 1500 gallons of water looks like busting out of a tank like that and onto the floor.
