I got some IO gel food samples at MACNA, and it seems a really great idea. The only problem is that my fish don't seem to think it's such a great idea. They are lukewarm on eating any one of the three types. What's your experience? I have osc. clowns, Bartlet's anthias, flame angel, flame hawk, and a bicolor blenny.

had same issue but i was just opening the pack and putting the paste right in the tank. I am not trying putting them in a container with some tank water and mixing it up will let you know how that works

I squirt it onto a small plate and then use my baster and squirt some tank water into it and mix it all up with a wooden skewer. Then I dump it in and they eat it no problem. When I initially just squirt the packet into the tank, the fish were very wary of it and wouldn't eat it, mainly I think because it looks odd........

I've tried a couple of them and our fish seem to take right to them.

My fish love it. My female saddleback thinks the bigger the glob the better. I do try to drop it so one of my powerheads chops it up and disperses it though, that way the corals get some and the smaller fish have an easier time with it.

Yes squeeze it out in front of a powerhead otherwise it just is a clump. my fish were leery at first but I have bought this in the past so they are used to it.

I've actually used this stuff for the last 6 months. I've always liked it and pretty much will keep it as my regular food of choice. I got a couple other types at MACNA and did a review... its a quick one =)   http://youtu.be/-1NNkuEfj-U

My fish like it, I just squeeze out small amounts and they go right after it. At first they were not sure but I think when the scent got in the water they decided it was good. I think it smells like canned cat or dog food! Very convenient to have on hand.
