Interesting Apex Situation...FYI

I'm having an issue with one of my EB8s...I noticed that one of the outlets doesn't seem to be shutting off as it should be, so I swapped that EB8 out with my backup EB8 to troubleshoot the one having issues.  I attached the new EB8 to the Apex, transferred all of the programming over, renamed the new outlets to the old outlet names and assumed that I was done.  Wrong.  Apex is smart enough to know when you rename an outlet, so it updates any programming dependent on that outlet name elsewhere in the programming.  This is a great feature...unless you remove the outlet it's referring to.  In this case, when I removed the problematic EB8 and deleted it from the configuration, it changed the name of the outlet (for my return pump) that my skimmer program was dependent on to DELETED.  The program could not determine the state and stayed in the fallback state of off, but reported the state as UNK in the interface, indicating that there was a problem.  I looked at the code and saw the issue.  I fixed the programming and all is fine again, but keep this in mind if you're swapping out power strips.

No, the EB8 you sold me was the one I kept on hand as my backup that I replaced it with. It's working fine.
