I was just wondering what temp every one shoots for and tries to maintain in there reef tank
I try to keep mine around 78-79 degrees but I'm thinking of droping it to 77-78 degrees

I let mine follow the seasonal cycle on the Apex unit, it is around 75 right now and will get up to 80ish in the summer months

I would leave it were it is. In warmer water the metabolic rate of corals is increased and there for growth is increased. I keep mine at 78 -79 in the winter and 80 - 81 in the summer.
