HQI light bulbs

    what is a good HQI light bulb want to have my nice blue and grow coral at the same time 2x250 watt HQI lamps thanks

    reeflux 12K the only bulb I use.

    our vendor carries both brands going to try reefux and see what happends

    One thing I noticed about reefux is they may not be consistent. At AE they replaced their bulbs with reflux 14k on both tanks, they look completely different.

    Are they running the same ballast/wattage on both tanks? This can make a big difference as well. The Phoenix bulbs are very popular as well and are a good bulb but a little to blue IMO though.

    Another highly rated and very close to the reeflux are the radium bulbs.

    ya i got a set of bulbs had to send back to the wholesaler colors was way off got new ones and they are fine i have so Manny sets of bulbs that are only like a month old lol cant make up my mind i like my 20ks but i don't get the growth my new frag tank i just got I'm putting 2 x150 watt 10ks HQI
    on it its going to be in the store room no one will see it down there
