How toxic is a green carpet nem?

    I just got stung by my green carpet. My hand feels realy weird and kind of burns. It kind of feels like it is movein up my are. Should i be concerened? Or will it jut pass in a little while?[​IMG]

    I'm by no means even close to an expert but from my understanding unless you're allergic you don't have any permanent damage to worry about - you'll just be really uncomfortable for awhile. I think?

    funny we should be talking about :stings: i was scraping algae off my glass on sunday and my frogspawn stung me! big welt and stung for a few hours.. so note to self... move frogspawn frag AWAY from glass before scraping....

    I've got a green(haddoni) carpet and I've touched it a few times with no reactions yet, but like Tony said, it could just be I'm "immune" to it...

    Thanks for the response guys. The funny thing is Adam is that I have touched it before with no effect but this time I guess it was feeling hungry or threatened because it got me good. I was just toughing it out and my wife came home ( she's a nurse ) and I told her and she fliped lol did a serch and found out that you should soak the effected area in vinager. So she made me do it and it is much better now.
