Its time to me on. going to move up to a 120gl . I have some live rock around 65lbs. The plan for the tank is reef with softies and
A few fish would like to start with trigers. Really need to know how much more base or live rock will be needed?

It really depends on how you plan on arranging things. I don't think that there's a formula about how much you need per gallon to be "right". It's all personal preference. Get more rock than you think that you need. That way, you have a selection of pieces to work with. Stack, attach with rods/pvc, zip tie to something, etc. Make sure your rock is stable...a rock slide can cause major damage to your livestock. Allow places for the fish to hide, tunnels, etc.

The rule of thumb for LR is generally 1-2 lbs/gallon. As AJ said, personal preference plays a key part but remember the LR plays a critical role in biological filtration. Good luck!
