For those also wondering, SRO = Super Reef Octopus. It should have been obvious, but I admit, I had to look it up. I had no idea they made so many different variations of the same model number. For example, they have INT, EXT and SSS. I really like the idea of the pump *inside* the skimmer like many of the new models are coming out with, but an external skimmer has advantages too. If I was buying a 3000, not sure which I would go with...either the SSS or the EXT. The smaller footprint in the sump is probably worth the price of making the pump less accessible for maintenance. I just put a Bubble Blaster 3000 pump on my EuroReef...but I haven't fired it up yet. Looking forward to seeing it in action with the new pump.

Yeah I got the sss (internal pump) its really cool, they put a lot of o rings and grommets into it, its really well designed. I like the in sump models because if it gets messed up when I'm skimming wet and something causes it to overflow, itlll just flow back into the sump.my dream skimemr is a reeflo orca pro which is an external tho.

so i got my BRS duel reactor yesterday and got it all hooked into my system. I just want to say it is an overnight difference. The water is absolutely crystal clear, and my sps coral seem to have sprung to life to the point i can almost see the color change in them. Could just be my mind playing tricks on me but I am completely amazed at what a difference it has made in such a short amount of time.
