We are interested in knowing how you found out about our club.
    Word of mouth?
    Flyer?
    Craigslist?
If you've just found the club, please reply to this post and let us know how you found out about us!

I was doing research prior to setting up my tank.  Basically I stumbled upon the site via a search engine.

Same here.  I was looking around for other reef stores besides AE and SOM in the state and this site came up.

I found GIRS off Reef Central. My first 6 months of this hobby I only visited Saltwater.com's forums. Kinda funny to me now!

My name is Jay. I live in Cedar Falls. I heard about GIRS form Nick at PETS PLAYHOUSE. I've been in this VERY addicting hobby since May 2008, so I'm still learning! I have a 55 gallon tank with about 65lbs. of rock.  I have never used RO water. Just tap with marine stress coat and Instant Ocean salt. Never had a problem with fish or coral.
I have a seaclone skimmer, 216 watt t-5 light, cascade 1200 canister filter, and 2 power-sweep power heads.
