I have a strange question? Will hermit crabs reproduce in a marine tank?? I love the neon blue legged hermits I have 3 and wondered if they might increase in numbers on their own??Any I deas?
    Thanks!

i am not sure. I only thing close to reproducing that mine do, is try to eat the only out of its shell and steal the shell.

Iwould also think that if u have more you would have a better chance for them to reproduce

I haven't heard of it in captivity, but as common as they are in the wild, I would think it could be possible but very unlikely.

I know nothing about hermits, but about 40 years ago they told me you could not spawn card. tetras when I was ,and trading them to fish stores by the hundreds.I bet it happens more then folks realize.
