I'm pretty sure my new yellow tang has Popeye (disease?). I'm not 100 percent positive, but what can I do to save my fish?

I did read that it might not be Popeye but an injury, as anyone had this problem?

I have also read that this can be caused by an injury as well. Sorry, no experience with it either

It will usually resolve on its own and is usually caused by them scratching their eye on a rock or injuring it some other way. I have always just taken a fresh garlic clove, either finely chopped or crushed it, and add it to some frozen food with a little saltwater on a plate and let it soak for 30 min. or so. I try and pick out the bigger pieces of garlic, then feed your fish the soaked food. Not sure that this "cures" it, but I feel like it resolves quicker using garlic soaked food and prevents any secondary infections from popping up.
