I use the finnex titanium heaters on my 210. This might be overkill but i use 3 for the simple fact that a year ago i had 2 fail at the same time. those werent finnex though. I like running 3 just as a safety that way if 1 fails i still have 2 working. Also 3 smaller heaters is better than 1 big one imo.
As far as the controller goes i use a reef keeper light controller. you can pick them up for around $115 at bulk reef supply. I have used cheap controllers and they never lasted. If you go buy a good controller like a ranco industrial one your going to spend abought as much as you would on a reef keeper. The nice thing abought buying the reef keeper is that you can use it to controll other stuff as well.
I know that is kind of a expensive way to go but it's cheap compared to the amount of $ you have in coral and fish.

I use two finnex titanium hma-500 on mine. I like the external heat dial on them to set them.
    heater link

Mixed with my apex it is working great. The cord between the dial and the plug is a bit short but that would be my only complaint and it could be fixed easy.

those finnex digital sumbersible heaters they sell at BRS are the bomb in my opinion.

I use two 300 watters in my 350 total volume

Same thing I use on my 350 one controlled by the reefkeeper and one by my chillers heater port so if one controller or heater fails I still have one working.
I would never recomned one heater, always use 2 smaller ones.  I've seen way to many tanks fried because of stuck on heaters.  With 2 smallers ones if one sticks it won't fry your tank.

I'm a big fan of titanium heaters in general. IT really won't matter on the brand as you are going to use you Apex to control it anyhow. As others have mentioned in it is a good idea to have 2 smaller heaters instead of one big one. If you have the room I might even go as far as recommending to run one independently as the temp probes sold with Neptune products will EVENTUALLY fail it seems.

    Knock on wood.

Titanium all the way. I have the JBJ true temp, it's OK, the head unit has a +/- 1 degree which I don't like, you set to 76 and it kicks on at 75 and off at 77. I would prefer an adjustable range but you get what you pay for.

I used to use Hydor theo's but had bad luck so after hearing alot of feedback switched to jager's. Work wonderfully, but they are HUGE!

EboJagers are very reliable and my go to heater usually. I have used Theo's and they're ok(using one now at +2yrs) and have used Finnex digital submersible and the titanium-both died within the year but they were small heaters compared to what you're looking for. Definitely go with more than 1 heater as others have stated.
