Guess who`s upgrading?

Thanks for the update, Jeremy! I have been quietly following along and you seem to be having quite a bit of fun geeking out on the equipment side of things! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

 

No school today! The kids are at daycare so I am going to finally get a chance to redo the wiring on my tank.

I am also going to try and fish out the Chromis and replace them with a harem of Anthias. It should be an interesting project. I may resort to pulling out the entire rock. I guess as long as I get most them out I should be OK.

Off to find the velcro and wire ties....

 

Lots of the "spaghetti" is now gone and at least now all my Apex peripherals are mounted to the wall. I did manage to eliminate a power strip but it was replaced with the second EB8.

Once I pick up my mess I may try and fish out some Chromis. I am really not looking forward to this at all, but the group of Anthias is gonna be soooo much cooler.

Ok ok...it's still a mess but is a TON better than it was.  I simply have too much equipment and without taking everything apart and re doing everything this is what I came up with.

Hey Jeremy, tank looks great! I have a comment... Is your CO2 bottle full? I have always heard that you can not lay them horizontal unless they have a special fitting inside. If they are over half full, then liquid CO2 would come out and possibly even freeze up the lines... Here is a link to one that was designed to lay horizontal...

Where can you buy a rock like that? i looked on alternitive reef and they dont seem to have the big rocks. Im looking for one for a biocube 29

 

Hmmm, interesting.  I guess I never thought about it.  I bought this setup used and I am not sure how full the bottle actually is.  It has been running like this since September w/o issue so I probably am pretty much running on fumes.
I'm going to have to do more research on this.

They have them but you will probably have to email Scott about them.
Something like that would be sweet in a bio cube for sure.

 

I spoke to Scott about a pillar piece and he said is no longer making the larger pieces...but is still making the smaller frag holders.
