    Alright! So after 2 1/2 months of dealing with the service center and insurance people, and threatening a law suit on them for not returning my emails, or update requests via phone, and for their automated system hanging up on me twice, they finally got around to shipping my Nikon D90 back yay! Here's some mug shots of the usual suspects if you see these first two about in public, refrain from direct eye contact, they will beg you for food.....and then probably bite you. (I have coddled them and re-enforced bad behavior by obliging their hunger).

    A few of these guys are in my new 40 gallon breeder that's set up right next to my 120 sharing a common sump. The 40 has the goby, the six line, and the basslet in it.

    Now here's what I call catching the speeding bullet! My melenurus is a real turd! (and a giant fat *** turd at that!)

    Couple of full tank shots in the actinic blue's of the morning of both the 120 and the 40.

    Enjoy! and if you're looking to get some good pix of your reef tank, hit me up, I charge a modest $20 per shoot to yield ~30-50 great shots. I also welcome trades for SPS frags!

    You've got some great shots there Andy. I hope you bring your camera to our regional events so that we can get some good pics of our club gatherings...especially the tank tours! :)

    I've been an active hobby level photographer for 3 or 4 years now, my arsenal includes my Nikon D90 and a D300 (out of action waiting to send it in for new sensor) and a Sony Cyber Shot W280 (with a water housing that I've used in the Caymans, and Virgin Islands.) I had the option of sending in my D90 or my D300 (due to financial constraints) and decided that it was more important to have my D90 done since it had suffered immersion in salt water (I fell off of a boat in New England over Thanksgiving break). Plus the D90 does video which I've had a lot of fun with. I want to get an Ikelite water housing for my D90 but they're 1100 bucks, I also really want a super telephoto lens (200-500mm). I've got three lenses to work with now a wide angle zoom 18-105mm Nikon VR, a 90mm micro nikor Nikon macro lens, and a Nikon VR 70-300mm. I've got more money wrapped up in cameras than I do in my 120 with all the bells and whistles!
    I've made a few photo sets of events, and there are threads I've posted with details floating around GIRS somewhere. I've been reporting on regional events with picture annotations since the fall, I did a shoot for the tank tour;

    and I did a shoot for Fall Fest;

    I'll be shooting frequently don't worry AJ, I'm back in business!

    Andy, thanks for sharing the wonderful shot of your fish and corals! Your tank looks great and I hope I can check it out sometime when I am in the I.C. area. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif
