glass polishing

    is cerium oxide reef safe to be used for polishing inside glass pane?

    Not sure. What I do know is that polishing can pretty quickly change your optics (things will become all distorted ie. bigger, smaller, kind of like a magnifiying glass) if you do it too much. Just thought I would point that out. Most everything I read recommends against it since most scratches that the owner would actually want to buff out are actually too deep and would cause this ditortion by the time they are fully buffed out.

    I agree with Bela, If the scratch is deep enough that you can feel it when you run your finger nail across it then it's probably there for good. If you do polish your glass do it with extreme care because one little mistake and you'll be worse off than when you started.

    cant see anyway previous owner has left a glaze on the glass not clear anymore this has to be done or remove glass pane and replace and that seems like too much of a pain for me
