I just got my shipment in.  I ordered a bulkhead and hole saw.  I opened my package and there were a sample size of skittles and starbursts.  Now the kids are happy too!

No, not yet.  I have an extra 10 that I'm going to practice on.  I'm not doing my main tank.   If all goes well, I'll do my sump.  That way, just in case if something happens I'll use the 10 gallon as a reservoir if my over flow fails.
But I do have that extra 55 also.  So I may do some experimenting.

dont drill that 55, most 55's have a good chance of being tempered glass and you will have a mess on your hands if it is

I'd bet all side are tempered. I'd call the manufacturer before drilling anything. AGA was nice enough to put stickers all over my tank saying "Do not drill, all sides are tempered"

I'll see if I can find the maker.  I think it's Aqua Tech, it was a complete set up I bought 4 years ago when I upgraded my freshwater.

I'm glad I'm on vacation this week.  It's not even noon on Monday and I'm already getting stuff I've been wanted to do a while done.
I had a little trouble getting it started, I just jumped around a lot the first few seconds and realized I was putting too much pressure and let the bit do the rest of the work and came out fine.
    My son inspecting my work.
