I have an Aqueon Standard 120g (not drilled) that I wish to sell or trade. I am planning to downgrade to a 75g.

The catch here is that when I set up this tank, my floor was all out of whack and I spent so much time getting the stand in contact with the floor fully that I didn't pay close attention to the tank in contact with the stand. So I set it up and all 4 corners were "floating" off the stand enough to put a piece of paper under them. This is when I noticed bubbles in the seams. I immediately tore it down, fixed the stand issue, and set it back up. One spot in particular was worrysome so I placed a bar clamp on it. I have left this clamp in place for the last 2.5 years and have had no issues with the tank.

Here is what it looked like when I first set it up:

The only area that I consdiered to be of issue after fixing the stand was right at the very top of the front left corner

So I put this bar clamp on it

...just as a safety precaution. I occasionally take the clamp off, like when I need to clean the glass above it with a mag-float, and the 'bubble' is always gone, but will re-appear over time. I've been told that I probably don't even need the clamp but I prefer to be cautious so I leave it in place!

I bought the tank for over $350 new.

I will include the stand, which I built based on the RocketEngineer DIY Tank Stand Template on Reef Central. It is rock solid. Just needs a nice skin on it and it will last you forever.

There is enough room under the tank to fit a 40 Breeder.

I will also include the clamp which was $30

Price negotiable but I would like to get $300 for all of it (tank, stand, clamp).

I would be willing to drill the tank and build an internal/external overflow box (with a BeanAnimal drain system) if someone wanted it to be a sump based system. I also have a cut-up 40B that I could make baffles out of and place in a new 40B and make a nice sump system.

Sorry, none of the contents are for sale. Just the tank. Also I will not be ready to tear it down until probably mid-November at the earliest.

    Post or PM!

Another thought here - one could install a permanent band around the very top of the tank (right below the trim) to replace the compression needed by the clamp. Like one of those reinforced plastic bands that companies wrap around appliance boxes that you have to cut off with a wire cutters. That would eliminate the need for the bar clamp. Then it would be less obvious.

Not even an offer from anyone besides Matt who just wants it for a vivarium.
Dropping price for tank / stand / clamp to $250 OBO. $225 without clamp
