I have a brand new, in box Fiji Cube 36 Sump/Fuge. It arrived to me cracked, the seller replaced it and told me to keep it. It's a small crack and I almost just used it as is because I don't think it will leak at all, it's in a spot that wouldn't be under water anyway but I figured I spent $530, it should be perfect...so it's a very good deal. Even if it did leak (it's only about 1 to 2 inches in length, I can get pics) all it would take to fix is some clear flexseal tape or similar. Or a proper acrylic weld fix is possible as well I suppose. The crack is on a panel, not on a seam, I assume it happened in shipping or in the warehouse.

Feel free to ask questions, dimensions and measurements are below. Located close to Cedar Rapids

    From the Manufacturer:

Fiji Cube sumps are characterized by truly unique design features and a clean, elegant design. When it comes to sumps, it they all operate on pretty similar designs and layouts, so choice can really come down to the fine details. Fiji Cube has incorporated some innovative and interesting features into their sumps that we think you'll really appreciate.

At the very start, you'll notice the interchangeable filter sock holder or filter floss tray, providing extra versatility in mechanical filtration. One feature we really like is the built-in heater holder bracket in each sump, which takes the hassle and concern of proper heater mounting in the sump out of the equation. Of course, they also include plenty of room for equipment such as skimmers and reactors and as well as a refugium-ready design for larger sump sizes, so all modern sump needs are met. You'll also find a polycarbonate sump cover with a skimmer cutout included to reduce noise and evaporation, which is another unique trait that shows their attention to detail. Rounded corners, euro-bracing, probe holders and dosing tube holders round out the mainstays for a really well rounded sump design.

Yes I can. I got more pics today. The crack is larger than I remember, but it’s 90% above the water line and I can’t catch my fingernail on any edges of the crack from inside or outside so I’d feel pretty sure it won’t leak but I’d still seal it so I can sleep at night. I’ll adjust the price since the crack is larger than I recall.

I think this might be a tough sale, that crack looks pretty significant and will likely get worse once you add the pressure of the water pushing on it. Good news is your out zero dollars since it's a freebbie. I honestly don't think your going to get much if anything for it unless you able to repair it and show it doesn't leak as is i'd be concerned it'd ruin my stand and floor.
