Freezgard

    We got this stuff at work called Freezgard Mag Chloride Ice Melter Crystals. I was just wondering if this is what you guys use in the 2 part solution?

    i think the 1st part is calcium so the main thing would be calcium, the 2nd part i think its alk which i think is made from baking soda, and the 3rd part which you add much much less is mag. which is epsom salt.

    could be wrong... i dont have the test kits to try 2 parting yet.

    ive been telling everyone to watch this video just because it gives you the basic idea - but you can look up recipes online

    I bought some of that last year, but I couldn't find any real info about it so I never felt comfortable about using it in my tank.

    yeah that goes with the epsom salt part of the two part solution.

    that stuff is hard to find where did you get it at?

    It only says its active ingredient is Mag chloride not sure that is saying it is the only ingredient.
    Not sure I would trust it

    Ya I'm not going to use it.
    You should use it, but only on your sidewalk or driveway.
