    Good evening,

A few months ago (can pinpoint exactly how long ago), my fiancé and I bought two miss bar clown fish. They were both perfectly healthy and active. We put them in our new 40 gallon breeder tank. They were growing at a quick pace and seemed perfectly content. One of the fish grew very big and dark. We thought she would become the dominant fish and she seemed dominant for quite a long time. A few months later we started to notice that the fish lost its appetite out of the blue. We would put food in the tank and she just wouldn't grab any. We could not figure out what the deal was for the longest time. We even researched like crazy. We thought of all possibilities including an infection or a parasite. We even thought it might just be stressed from a water change or moving coral around. So we kept an eye on her for a few days. After almost a week without food,We then tried to feed it with our hand to see If it would grab food from us. Surprisingly, it did and it acted really hungry. So we have successfully hand fed it for the last three months. I started to think after a while that maybe the fish was blind and couldn't see. We quarantined both fish in our small tank to make sure it was not sick. It seems completely normal other than just not seeing where it is going. We are having a hard time deciding what to do. The main problem being we are going out of the country next month for our wedding and we do not have anyone to come feed it by hand. We think it would be better to find someone who is willing to take care of it and feed it by hand. We really want it to live because we don't think it will survive while we are gone. We would like to trade, but due to the condition of the fish, we would be happy enough knowing someone is taking care of it.
