Finally finished with my stand

    Not sure how to post pictures on here but if ya check my profile out, I am one step closer now to being ready to start my journey!!!

    Im hoping too but not for sure yet...Gotta have ankle surgery soon and just trying to rush to get some things done...waiting on my RO unit now

    Ok I could scream..got my stand home today and when i put the tank on it....the tank isnt sitting flat..so Im guessing some how my stand twisted....u would think 4x4's would hold...at a loss!

    try putting alot of weight on the stand to see if it will flatten out

    I had the same issue with my stand. Check your floor to see if it is flat and level and in full contact with the stand all around. Then check the top for flat and level. Obviously the tank on top (empty) will expose anything out of true. If it's in contact with the floor, then put the tank on and get a pack of cedar underlayment shingles from Menards ($15 for a ton) and shim the snot out of it. It looks like this is for a 120, 2x2x4? for tanks 48" long or less, you only really *need* to fully support the corners, 6" from each corner. So make sure those are supported. And do NOT put water in the tank until those corners are fully supported.

    As for posting pics, you can upload them to Photobucket or another similar site (use Irfanview to reduce file size first) then copy the HTML tag and paste into the quick reply window. It's a little trickier to do if you open the 'add reply' window, you have to switch to the HTML tab and mess with HTML tags to get it to look right. easy enough to do if you have basic understanding of HTML though.

    Im gonna try shimming it up on monday...its about 1/8 of an inch off so shouldnt be to bad to do..just hate taking trim work off...ill repost after Im done!
