Feedback wanted

My wife thought that some sort of classes/demonstrations for newbie to advanced level topics... since you might have the space for it. Maybe a once a month thing to help bring people into the store. Vendors could showcase new products. People new to the hobby might be looking for some sort of support system.

 

I agree  with matt1971 abought the classes. you could do demos like tank drilling and so on. I just wanted to say thanks for haveing us over today as well as everyone else that participated in the tour. Craig thank you for the deals on produts today and the raffle as well.

Crap, we should have drilled a tank while everyone was there! There's about 50 of them we've got to drill this week!

The store looked great. It was a big change from the last time I saw it. I really like that you are going to carry high quality merchandise that you cant really get other than online shopping. Just keep on keeping on, it will be great.

It might be kinda cool to have a mid-sized home brew operation onsite and sell it. Ignoring the costs and PITA of dealing with the state liquor board, it would be awesome. You could have your own line of reef related brews like 'Anthias Ale' or 'Blue Stripe Hermit Hops'

Also plumbing parts. I would love to be able to find reef specific plumbing parts at my LFS. Things like Jaco and John Guest fittings. RO/DI auto shut off valves, float swithes, icemaker lines. Schedule 80 bulkheads, gasgets, ball valves. Silicone. Glass sheets cut to size.

 

Also store hours. I have almost given up on a great LFS. If it is open and I am in the area....great. But I can't plan a roadtrip there because the hours are inconsistent. I even bought some crabs from Petland out of desparation. ( I don't like their corporate history with dogs)

Plumbing parts is key! I'd also like to see oceans motions water directors!
Also, reef magazines, (so I can salvage missed issues between subscription renewals), and some awesome fish murals on the walls. Prehaps a Jason Mathias?
