We will be moving soon and our new house will have the opportunity to have a basement sump. Looking for input/experience in terms of what to do and what not to do in terms of plumbing, return pump etc. We are also planning on having a frag tank tied into the display tank via the sump. Any advice in that arena would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

well.....other than needing a larger return pump you'll also want to make sure that if your drains have long horizontal runs you have them angled downward a few degrees. This is so that the water flows freely to prevent gurgling and siphoning in the drain line from traped air.

Ill be doing a build thread soon with my new display tank being plumbed through thr floor into my fish room, tied in with 2 frag tanks as well. Keep an eye out for it and you can learn from what i will guess be a few mistakes lol.
