Emerald Crab? ....

    So, I have watched my emerald crab on multiple occasions pick at my toadstools and green slimer to eat the mucus that the corals kick out. Is thus common? Do I need to worry about the crab hurting the corals too much?

    Nobody heard of this? I caught him doing this again. Nobody have any advice?

    I have seen them pick at alot of stuff, I have heard of them eating some nems, but not sure if it was mucus, or the actual coral

    This time he was definitely looking to pull the extended polyps off. I hope this does not become a major pattern.

    Usually it is a problem when they get big, cant tell from pic how big that one is.

    He is pretty big. I would say his body is a bit bigger then a quarter. So, with his arms stretched out, he would be several inches across. Is he going to need to find a new home? ...

    Ya, just give him to a FOWLR person & get a smaller one

    Lol. Ok. Looks like he needs to go soon. (Maybe the wife will want to get a fowler tank? ...)
