Does anyone know where to get egg crate in Iowa City/Coralville? I would like to make some frag racks and a little shelf for my chemi-pure bags. Does anyone know where to get glass cut? The glass lid for my AP12 broke a while back and I'm tired of all the evaporation constantly.

Last time I bought egg crate was from Lowes over in Coralville. As far as cutting glass, if you've got 1/8 inch glass, Ace hardware, Lowes, and I think Menards can cut it. If it's thicker than 1/8 inch then Marves Glass can do it. There is another place in town but I don't remember which one it is.

I was told you can get egg crate at Menards. For the glass cutting Ace Hardware here cuts it. Not sure if you have an Ace around you though.

I've bought egg crate at Menard's and I get glass cut at either Hobby Lobby (back in the framing department) or Michael's. I'm sure any place that deals in picture framing can cut glass.

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I'll check Menard's later. I'll drop by Hobby Lobby to see if they will cut glass for me. I wonder if they polish the edges?

The only place that I know of in IC that will polish the edges is Marvs Glass.

Egg crate should be with Lighting.

Look for the egg crate with the paint department at Menards. The local store in Dodge has it back by the drop ceiling supplies.

I would just go to Marvs. Sounds like they could do everything that you want for the glass.
