Could someone please post the DIY tank stand that has been posted a couple times.  I think it if from reef central but i just can't find it.  Thanks.  Also how thick of plywood should i use for the top of my stand when sitting a 240 gallon tank on it?

I would run a thin layer of that pink foam insulation to offset any unevenness in the stand/plywood/ other variables. Not such a big deal on small tanks but on the big ones if you are building your own, the few extra dollars will be worth every penny plus! I use to run a small lfs and it helped alot with the large 125's and bigger FWIW

Thank you. and yes i plan on using a piece of foam as it is a rimless tank. Just wondering if on 3/4 inch sheet of plywood would be enough for it to sit on. I am going to build the stand out of 2x6.

Be careful using foam if it has a floating bottom or trim on the bottom it will do more harm then good always check with the manufacture if they recommend using foam

Brad you saw the one I had Craig build for Grove & Platt, based on the RC thread. For a rimless tank, you just have to be anal about the top frame members, they have to be completely flat & level, then 2 layers of 3/4" ACS grade plywood, then 1/2" minimum foam insulation board. I had him build that thing like a tank, additional crossbraces are needed for an acrylic or rimless glass tank as the bottom needs to be fully supported.

The G&P tank had black plastic trim around the bottom (which I didn't expect) but it was only like 1/16" or 3/64" thick so I didn't consider that to make it a 'rimmed' tank on the bottom. Manufacturer said put foam under it.
